Fluoroelastomer (Viton®) is a type of synthetic rubber. It is known for their excellent resistance to high temperatures, chemicals, and oils. They are commonly used in a variety of industrial and automotive applications, such as in fuel and oil systems, as well as in the aerospace and semiconductor industries. Fluoroelastomer o-ring cord has a wide operating temperature range, good compression set resistance and low gas permeability. They also have excellent electrical insulation properties.
